Packer / flt driver - united kingdom, east yorkshire

gi group are proud to be working in partnership with our client who specialise in producing specialty products used in a range of industries from automobiles to ceramics.

we currently have a number a vacancies for you to join the role of a packer / kegger at their facility based in hull (hu9 area),

pay and hours:

* rotating weekly 6.30am - 2.30pm ,2.30pm - 10.30pm and 10.30pm to 6.30am

* mornings and afternoons are monday to friday, nights starts on a sunday night and last shift is a thursday night

* £11.62 p/h

predicted length of term: temporary role leading to permanent following 12 weeks service for the right candidate

the role involves

* loading of kegging stations with batches to be kegged.

* checking and cleaning of topping screen.

* cleaning of packing magnet.

* kegging batches as per batch card instructions and customer instructions.

* banding and wrapping of pallets as per customer specifications.

* removing kegged batches to the finished goods store.

* maintaining records of kegged batch information on batch cards etc

* maintaining and recording all production information as required including booking out of anything used from packing or general/engineering stores.

* maintaining the equipment and working area in a clean and safe condition.

* checking the operation of all dust collection plant on the process.

* health, safety and welfare of themselves, their team colleagues and visitors to site.

* reporting any problems to team leader/production supervisor.

* carry out any reasonable management request

you will

* possess excellent communication skills

* be able to work as part of a team

* have a positive attitude and work ethic

* previous production experience is preferred but full training will be provided.

* own transport preferred due to location

* hold a current counterbalance flt licence (20% flt work)
