Cabinet maker - united states, dallas

position profile:

performs the assembly of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting.

primary responsibilities:

assembly of products:

product completion per production schedule

meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.

maintain work station clean, organized and safe.

use of personal protection equipment (ppe) required.

maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.

observe all company policies and standard practices.

participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

required skills

minimum qualifications

2+ years previous experience of carpentry.

reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.

proficient using equipment and hand tools such:

bench saw

miter saw/radial saw

band saw

planer/jointer

electrical tools: router, screw driver, sander.

hand tools.

comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.

strong attention to detail and flawless results.

ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member

a high school diploma or equivalent (ged), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
