we are looking for a flexible, switched on, organised candidate who has a sense of humour and can work well with teenage girls ages 12 and 15 as well as their 7-year-old brother. this is a very high-profile family who need a discreet nanny, someone who can travel with them, sometimes at the last minute and who can work in a team. it is essential you can use your time effectively, take initiative and be a self-starter.

the family are looking for someone who is excited by their role and can manage the busy schedules of the children, take them to and from school, support with homework or extracurricular activities and who loves cooking healthy nutritional meals.

the schedule will be flexible depending on the parents’ workload and sometimes they will need to travel for work and need the candidate to do proxy-parenting and move into their home in hampstead. they also have a dog so you must be pet friendly and be happy to walk the dog sometimes too.

they are very fair, kind employers and really value their nanny and want her to be happy. they would love someone who can be a role model for the children and who is calm under stress. if you have experience of the uk school system this would be preferred. they would also like someone who has a positive attitude and is happy to muck in.

you need to be a native or fluent english speaker, be covid vaccinated, and a uk driver is essential.

location: hampstead, nw3

start: asap

days: monday to friday

hours: full time hours but will be variable

term time up to 40 hours monday to friday

holidays 50 hours plus depending on travel needs

salary: £65,000 - £70,000 gross per year

essential duties and responsibility:

cooking fresh meals for the children and sometimes parents

general organisation of everything related to the children

take and pick up from school and take to afternoon activities

organising playdates/activities in school holidays

support with children’s homework and enrichment activities

wardrobe management for the children

travel with the family, some evening babysitting and proxy parenting
