qualifications:
experience with fire alarm and/or security installation / maintenance or an education in electronics and/or low voltage systems is required
current valid driver’s license
clean abstract (driving record)
must lift 40 lbs. repeatedly
must climb ladders
must be able to use small hand tools including a fluke multi meter
must be able to troubleshoot shorts, open, and grounds in field wiring
work description:
above average problem solving and prioritization skills are critical to success in this role
install, modify, maintain, program, diagnose, repair wiring and devices – both analog and digital control panels for fire alarm and security systems
serve as a technical advisor on systems programming and configuration
coordinate code requirements with local fire marshals
performing maintenance service calls at customer sites on fire and security systems
