the director of beverage oversees the beverage program for the entire organization. this role will directly impact the lbw revenue for the organization. 

responsibilities: 

establish and nurture relationships with beverage vendors and negotiate procurement benefits.

develop training programs 

develop a lead bartender program

utilize restaurant365 to analyze product mix (pmix) to understand beverage program performance.

work with the director of training as a subject matter expert

 

requirements:

5+ years of experience managing a beverage program at a director level for multiple concepts at one time.

extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer

ability to develop beverage training programs and facilitate training

strong project management and organizational skills

highly skilled in beverage innovation with a proven track record of product introduction

at least a level 1 sommelier certification preferred
