Medical assistant|hourly - united states, longview (texas)
adecco medical & science is hiring for a certified medical assistant in arlington, tx.specific duties:
.1. performs all duties within the scope of a medical assistant's practice. operates diagnostic equipment, changes would dressing & obtains culture, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimen via venipuncture or via capillary, performs ekg'. performs quality control checks on equipment.
2. rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination.
3. records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner & coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policy.
4. respects patient confidentiality at all times and practices standard infection control precautions
5. performs all other duties as assigned( telephone calls, referrals, etc.)
shift start/end time :monday - friday 8am-5pm

**must have covid vaccine
must have qualifications/experience:
1. current, nationally recognized medical assistant certification.
2. current bls certification (through an approved american heart association training center or the military training network)
