Chem tech - united states, san fernando

adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in san fernando looking for a 2nd shift chem tech to work with the quality control team for a health food and supplements company.  the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the qc labs by sampling and/or testing incoming materials, in-process blends, and other products.  if you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please apply now!

 

responsibilities for this chem tech position include, but are not limited to:

 

samples of any or all materials (raws and bulks) tested by the quality control laboratory.

performs physical and analytical tests as assigned.

prepares laboratory solutions.

reviews documentation for completeness prior to submitting to the supervisor or other laboratory personnel.

refers non-conforming products to the quality supervisor for disposition.

contacts vendor to obtain certificate of analysis.

 

to be considered for this chem tech position, you:

high school diploma or ged

3 months related laboratory experience required, 1 year preferred

knowledge of system-related mrp (material requirements planning) is preferred.

use of calculator, balances, and hand-held laboratory sampling tools.

sop and gmp knowledge

shift: monday through friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm
