responsibilities include:

carrying out general and deep cleaning of premises, working to detailed cleaning tasks and notifying management of deficiencies or repairs. to be successful in this role, you should have excellent attention to detail. ultimately, you will ensure that you maintain the high-quality standards that is consistent with our service goals.

we are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge:

cleaning experience (min 1 year) good interpersonal and communication skills physical abilities good numeracy and literacy high level of attention-to-detail good organisational abilities enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work positive and approachable manner ability to use their own initative team player qualities

desirable:

commercial cleaning experience certified training in health & safety, lifting heavy objects and cossh

duties and responsibilities:

a cleaning operatives role can vary depending on their working environment but in general their duties will include:

maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness
cleaning, washing and disinfecting assigned rooms, bathrooms, doors and windows
dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels) maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary empty bins; remove rubbish and recyclable material complying with all healthy and safety and coshh policies and procedures that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks carrying out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment
