Hospitality assistant £11.30/h for high end contract catering in hampstead, frognal - united kingdom, hampstead, london

we are currently looking for a hospitality assistant to join our team in the iconic independent school located in hampstead (frognal).

job description:

-delivering a high standard of service in a school environment (serving tea/coffee/lunches on daily basis)

-looking after & serving fine dining events

-working evening functions - dinners, canape events, open evenings, parents evening etc

-in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. this includes recording of all consumption and stock control (food/beverages, equipment hire and laundry)

-be confident and deal with any issues in a professional manner while on duty

-an excellent level of english is required, as ability to communicate at all levels of the business, clients, customers, suppliers as well as colleagues and management team

the ideal candidate:

-a can do, polite, friendly attitude is a must

-be highly organised and able to multitask

-comfortable working in a high - pressure environment

-happy to work solo and in a team

-to be flexible in the workplace & able to work well without supervision

-able to look after a high volume of customers

-always presented to a high standard

-have a good eye for detail along with experience in fine dining

-must be able to work evenings/overtime as and when required

-your previous experience will be of a similar nature

this is monday - friday position (40h/week and 42 weeks contract - term time only) with guarantee paid over time, occasionally weekends will be required.
