an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development manager to join a well-established construction company based in southampton.
job title: business development manager.
salary: up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus profit sharing.
hours: full time.
reporting to: general manager.

a commercial yard offering hard landscaping materials to trade and internal customers.
landscape garden design and build services along with garden/grounds maintenance services.
all these businesses work together to secure their excellent reputation as experts in your garden. to ensure that the company continues to provide excellent service to all their product sales customers, they are seeking to recruit a business development manager. they need someone prepared to seek out new customers, marketing avenues and to identify suitable new products so that the company continues to thrive in the future.
you will have a proven sales or business development background, or similar experience which demonstrates your enthusiasm for setting and exceeding targets. you will have experience of retail and horticulture environments; a general interest in gardening would be helpful. you will be comfortable working with department managers, pitching ideas and agreeing delivery plans. you will also sit on our senior management team (smt), so the ideal candidate will have an understanding of business strategy and objectives.
