Production manager - united states, port washington

our ideal candidate leads by example and is consistent. strong leadership skills are a must, and focus on accountability to drive results. this candidate must be willing to push production and always focus on safety. experience with temp labor is a plus. strong skills in coaching and development are a must. mechanical aptitude and/or strong root cause problem solving skills will help ensure success in this role.

requires a high school diploma or ged. an associate’s degree in supervision or operations management is preferred.

prior experience (2-4 years) supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.

requires strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.

must have strong analytical/problem solving skills.

strong project management skills

demonstrated excellence in microsoft office (word, excel, access, power point), experience with timekeeping and production/labor/inventory reporting

proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
