adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an accountant in carlsbad, ca. the shift is monday through friday from 8am to 5pm at $45 an hour.
. as a member of the accounting team, key responsibilities include:
• performs month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation
• performs account reconciliations for revenue-related accounts and any other assigned areas
• ensures compliance with us gaap, the companys revenue recognition policies and sox controls
• reviews and analyzes sales orders and service agreements to evaluate and identify potential revenue recognition issues (i.e. complex language, omissions of data, necessary additions, language changes)
• reviews capital requests to determine appropriate accounting treatment
• reviews licensing contracts for proper accounting treatment
• supports the finance teams by assisting with revenue recognition related questions
• documents work product using available systems and tools
