my client is a leading industrial hvac systems manufacturing business with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. they have an opportunity for a marketing assistant to join their team based in bedford. as marketing assistant, you will: assisting in the implementation and follow up of all uk marketing activities, working across including: seminars, digital/web, social media, advertising, pr, email marketing (internal and external) events and networking. manage the activation of digital/print assets for marketing campaigns, defining channels to use, negotiating with suppliers/pr and ensuring roi tracking. work with sales and service teams to gather case study content including site visits, writing stories for approval and gathering videos/photographs/ graphics support increasing the uk's presence online, predominately on linkedin and google ads, as well as increasing pr activity through more traditional forms working with the group to revamp marketing materials in line with visual guidelines, including proofreading and grammar checking. organising attendance at events/expos/company and sales meetings support manager and sales team in carrying out market research nationally and globally assist in the management of seminar marketing campaigns, including liaising suppliers and consultants, updating salesforce and roi tracking managing email marketing campaigns using internal and external systems updating website and sales presentation materials working with salesforce crm including data cleansing, customer data, compliance with gdpr, sales support, and various ad hoc marketing and office support. to be considered for the role of marketing assistant, you will have: positive individual with a can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail who is passionate about creating engaging marketing campaigns and content. a drive to develop a career within marketing is crucial. whilst this is a junior position and we are open to talking to candidates from a range of backgrounds, some experience in a marketing environment and/or a marketing qualification would be very beneficial. this role offers some flexibility to do hybrid working, but being within commuting distance to our office is important as attendance to the office will be important. this is a permanent position. monday to friday, 37.4 hours a week. randstad cpe values diversity and promotes equality. no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any of the protected characteristics that fall under the equality act 2010. we encourage and welcome applications from all sections of society and are more than happy to discuss reasonable adjustments and/or additional arrangements as required to support your application. candidates must be eligible to live and work in the uk. for the purposes of the conduct regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an employment agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies we are acting as an employment business
