Van driver - united kingdom, dartford, kent

gi group are looking for van drivers in crayford (da1)

pay: £14.48 per hour

this is a temporary position with long term opportunities available for the right candidates.

what does the role involve?

start time 8am monday to friday with overtime & some weekend work available.

the ideal candidate will:

* have held a full current uk driving license for at least 12 months

* no more than 6 points - dd, dr, tt or in10

* have a working knowledge of crayford and da postcode areas

* must be able to carry parcels weighing up to 30kg

* punctual

* have previous van driving experience

* be able to complete and pass a dbs check

your duties will include (but not limited too):

* van delivery driving a long wheel-based van/3.5t van

* working as part of the team

* helping load and unload parcels where necessary of up to 30kg

* deliveries/hand ball/multi drop

* ensuring that all vehicles driven comply with traffic regulations currently in force

* immediate reporting of all accidents and defects to vehicle to the relevant authorities

what to expect:

* minimum 40hrs per week

* 8am starts

* regular ongoing full-time work

* competitive rates

* weekly pay (paye)
