an amazing opportunity has arisen to work for a hnw family as a live-out house manager/cook. you will work closely within a small and friendly team and will be overseeing all the running and maintaining a large and beautiful home in the cotswolds.
you will need to have relevant experience, have initiative, be highly organised, efficient and confident in all aspects of managing the operations of a residence run to a high standard.
you will need to be a good home cook, put together weekly menus and order accordingly, as well as keeping household supplies well stocked.
you will also need to have experience in all domestic duties including laundry and wardrobe management, ensuring that fine fabrics are cared for appropriately and arrange dry cleaning and tailoring, as well as a good knowledge of the maintenance and care requirements of a home to include silverware, antiques and fireplaces. you will be required to work alongside another housekeeper to help with cleaning and laundry when needed.
someone who is hands on and can help with the annual shoot parties, including guest and dining arrangements.
you will require a full uk driving licence and will need to be dog friendly as you will be required to help with care of the family pets.
the family travel extensively and can go away for extended periods of time, so during that time, the hours will be mon-fri 9-5pm, but when the family are in residence, you will be required to work fri-tue 9-5pm, so flexibility with your hours will be key, but greatly appreciated.
this is a live out position - so the person will need to be a driver with their own car and not live too far away. salary £40-50k depending on experience, live out. there is no live in option with this role.
