adecco is assisting local client recruit for a tax manager in everett, wa. this is a 3 months contract with a possibility of permanent placement.
responsibilities:
assist with the preparation of domestic income tax provisions and related input schedules
prepare or review foreign tax provisions, including coordination with foreign controllers
assist with the reconciliation of certain general ledger accounts.
ensure monthly closing processes are completed and submitted in a timely matter per reporting requirements.
respond to various queries directed at the department specific email inbox.
various ad hoc assignments as needed.
qualifications:
6+ years accounting experience, with a focus in accounting for income taxes.
ba/bs in accounting and/or master’s degree in tax.
strong technical knowledge of corporate federal and state income tax.
high proficiency in excel and manipulating large data set.
experience with oracle, vertex, alteryx, and/or power bi is preferred.
strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
ability to work independently.
flexible and curious, with the ability to apply prior experiences to new situations.
