our client, based on the outskirts of leeds, has been established 25 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the hospitality industry. they manufacture and fit out hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as hilton, sheraton, ihg, marriott & hard rock.

the business continues to go from strength to strength and following significant investment, they are now looking for an enthusiastic sales account manager to join their expanding team.

they are looking for an ambitious, tenacious, self-motivated field salesperson to help take advantage of the opportunities presented by being the market leader with a 60,000 square foot factory in leeds.

job purpose

your main purpose will be to research your market, identify and win key projects.

you will also be given established leads to convert to quotes, but the focus is on winning contracts and building relationships with hotels, interior designers, and large building contractors, who will return to you time and time again.

responsibilities but not limited to:

prospecting and acquiring new trade business accountsresearch organizations and reach out to the appropriate personquoting for and winning orders for hotel bedroom furniturereporting on accounts progress to managementmaintain extensive knowledge of current market conditionsface to face meetings with prospective and current clientsphone calls to prospects to generate leads
essential skills & qualification

an ambitious, determined, self-startertenacity and drive to seek new business and exceed targetswillingness to learn about hotel furnitureprevious sales success - business to business or retailuk driving licence & willing to travel throughout the ukexperience in interior design and/or selling furniture is preferred but it is not essential.excellent telephone manner and strong verbal and written communication skillscompetent computer skills, and experience with excel and crm software would be preferred.
