key responsibilities

to complete regular walk rounds.
maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanour at all times.
to greet and welcome our guests.
to ensure a high level of security, safety and privacy at all times for our guests and team.
responsible for all activities in the hotel at night in the absence of the executive team.
resolve customer issues, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
to complete the night reports
cross check all billing instructions are correctly updated.
controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.
manage the operations of the hotel at night to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests.
performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
take responsibility in the absence of the executive team.

the qualities and key skills are:

minimum 2 years front office experience or 1 year on similar role;
previous experience as a night manager
thorough knowledge and use of hotel pms, preferably knowledge of hotel protelair.
previous experience in a five star property
customer service focus
ability to be self-directed and highly motivated.

additional abilities would be:

knowledge of 5* london market.
working with upselling technics.

hours of work

reporting to the deputy general manager, your hours of work will be 12 hour shifts, 3 days on 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off.
