Graphic designer - in-store/retail - united states, columbus (georgia)
adecco creative and marketing is partnered with an american retail company headquartered in columbus, ohio in search of a remote graphic designer to design and produce a high volume of creative art including advertisements, signage, and collateral materials for print retail store operations.
this role is a 3-4 months assignment, working remotely in est hours. the team you will join is a hardworking and devoted team that is excited about the path the company is headed.
essential duties and responsibilities:
• works directly with internal clients to ensure strategic goals are met by the creative product.
• develops concepts leveraging creative briefs about a product or initiative to execute the creative art.
• self-manages individual projects and effectively collaborates on team projects to produce work that consistently supports our brand.
• partners with internal peers for photography, copywriting, illustration, and print and digital production, as required.
• leverages company-wide project management system for all creative workflow.
• prepares and sends all electronic art files to the appropriate vendor. advises vendors of corrections and approves layouts and proofs.
• maintains knowledge of and skill with creative macintosh software and keeps abreast of changes and new technologies.
• reports the status of assigned projects to all involved parties, using the workflow management system.
must have:
• bachelor’s degree in commercial art or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic and commercial layout design.
• extensive macintosh pc experience
• a high proficiency in graphic arts software.
• working knowledge of photography, illustration, digital, and print design and production, from concept to postproduction.
• must have in-store signage experience with large retailer
