we have a great opportunity for a night room service waiter/waitress to join our team. someone who is a self-starter, who loves to work independently, who is passionate about all things food and beverage and in ensuring a delightful experience for our guests.

as a night room service waiter/waitress you will work closely with our restaurant manager and night manger, assisting in the day-to-day operation of our room service department.

your duties will include:

serving hot food, drinks and beverages to our in-house guests.
be fully conversant with all room service menus and special offers
ensure mis-en place is prepared for service according to hotel and departmental standards
confidently take food and beverage orders as required and ensure that these are being processed correctly and in a timely manner.
provide courteous and efficient service to all in-house guests and ensure that their needs and expectations are fully met during their stay.
ensure that all room service areas are being kept tidy and clean and replenish stock as required.
liaise with the night manager on duty and communicate any special guest requests or issues in a timely manner

the ideal candidate will have the following skills:

1 years’ experience in a f&b role within a fine dining restaurant or 5-star hotel.
the ability to work under pressure
good communication skills and very good level of english
a natural elegance and passion for providing a luxurious level of service that is personalised, confident and calm
highly motivated individual with own initiative.

if you can demonstrate the following skills, that would be an advantage:

knowledge of pos
food safety level 2
previous room service experience as a night waiter/waitress is desirable.

your hours of workreporting to the restaurant manager, the role is full-time, 40 hours per week, working to a flexible rota, 5 days out of 7, with a 30-minute break included.
