adecco medical & science is assisting a top client in the pharmaceutical industry in recruiting for a scientist i in cambridge, ma. this is a 12- month contract assignment.

job summary:
seeking a talented, enthusiastic, passionate researcher with hands-on experience in designing and executing in-vivo mouse models to support immunology, autoimmune, and inflammatory disorders in our checkpoint immunology cluster located in cambridge, ma. the successful candidate will play a key role in progressing projects in the preclinical research space. this position is intended to support mechanistic biology activities to enable credentialing of early and late stage programs using in vivo
and in vitro biology skills.
key responsibilities:
working semi-independently, design, execute, develop, and characterize various in
vitro cell based assays for evaluation of drug candidates.
perform evaluation of immune cell function using flow cytometry, cytokine elisa assays, proliferation (radioactivity assays), cytotoxicity assays, live cell imaging.
education qualifications
candidates are required to have a b.s. in biology or related discipline with (2-5 years of
relevant experience) or an m.s. with 1-3 years of relevant experience
experience:
the successful candidate should have good communication and presentation skills, have a desire to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and be motivated to excel in both individual and team environments.
a background in immunology research is strongly preferred.
working experience with mammalian cell cultures, including established cell lines and primary human and mouse immune cells is required.

pay: 47-49 hourly
