advanced quality systems principle engineer automotive, west midlands gbp45,000 - gbp47,000 circa + benefits reporting to the advanced quality manager you will have quality systems responsibility in facilitating the implementation of quality systems deliverables within projects. you will act as an interface between the customers for quality systems, with professional communication skills to present and interact with clients. you will have experience in advanced quality competencies (apqp, agile, qfd etc). you will ensure all quality system deliverables are completed on time and to quality standards (iatf 16949, iso 17025, iso 9001, iso 14001, iso 45001 etc). you will have experience of vehicle features, attributes (pals) and requirements (rmdv). hold regular reviews and report quality systems performance (kpis) at steering committees, project reviews etc. liaise with local and global technical design/ engineering resource to achieve quality goals. support cross-functional reviews from feasibility/ concept phases to sop. facilitate/ participate within fmea process (vda, aiag, iec 60812, sae j1739 & aiag/ vda combined). you will have bom experience including implications/ considerations of weight and cost changes. demonstrate knowledge on standards (iso, iec, bs, astm, din, gb etc). demonstrate knowledge on regulations (unece etc). demonstrate excellent reputation while working directly and seamlessly with customers on their projects. other tasks as assigned by your manager. advanced quality systems principle engineer requirements: degree educated in relevant field. ecuk registration would be beneficial. minimum five years of related quality systems experience within the automotive industry. effective teamwork skills in a global team environment. ability to handle responsibility of delivering multiple advanced quality projects simultaneously. strategic thinker, looking to push quality boundaries. broad quality knowledge effective in solving quality challenges. automotive product development processes (v-model). high level of analytical ability, where problems are unusual and difficult. proven quality engineering within a matrix organization. ms-office proficiency. willingness to travel to customer and supplier locations when required, local and global. excellent verbal and written communication skills in english, with german as a plus
