your new company
your new organisation is an award-winning and ambitious public sector organisation set within east norfolk. they have a strong emphasis on the support and growth of their employees, further emphasised by their drive for organisational development and personal growth.
they are seeking a passionate, experienced, and autonomous hr advisor to support the organisation on a 12-month maternity contract.
your new role
reporting to the hr manager, you will be required to provide senior and middle managers excellent, professional, and proactive advice on all hr-related issues. this will include, but is not limited to:
er case management and support, ranging from disciplinaries to dismissals.
end-to-end recruitment, including selection, onboarding, and training delivery
change and absence management
disciplinary, grievance and restructuring actions
you will also be required to provide advice, guidance, and support to staff, including on matters relating to their employment, policies and health and wellbeing and will be responsible for the line management of one of the hr administrators.
what you'll need to succeed
ideally you will be at least cipd level 5 qualified, or have recent experience in a comparable capacity, excellent interpersonal and listening skills, as well as solid practical knowledge and comprehension of the key aspects of hr and current employment law. you'll need to be keen to work and thrive in a team setting with a desire to build and maintain relationships, deliver timely and accurate hr solutions, all whilst sharing the organisations values and committing to their agreed purpose.
