It technician onsite - united states, portland

$40/hour 7am-3pm contractor onsite portland, me

build new laptops for the pc refresh process. this will include interaction with employees eligible for refresh to work through the pc refresh process, backup and restore user data, have critical thinking for other equipment needs, such as docking stations, monitor cables, etc. answer end user questions as well as prepare laptop to be picked up in person or shipped remotely.

minimum requirements:

has microsoft windows and o365 knowledge with how to log in and basic knowledge of word, excel, outlook, onedrive

has basic laptop and desktop hardware knowledge, including docking stations, monitors, cables, etc

must be a self-starter and have skills to organize work to build over 100 laptops a month specific to each employee.

ability to complete the necessary administrative tasks (using servicenow) to track the new laptop and return of the old laptop

must have customer service skills in order to communicate effectively with unum employees on their refresh activities.

have troubleshooting skills to handle minor technical issues that arise either with the build process or with the unum employee after new laptop is delivered.

3-10 years expereince supporting computer build functions
