Cnc miller - united kingdom, stockport, manchester

we are currently recruiting for our client in stockport for a number of cnc miller positions

this is a permanent position working 07.30 - 17.30 four days a week (monday to friday) with one day off rotating per week. overtime is also available at time and a half, pay starts at £16.00 per hour (£33,280 p.a)

previous experience in a similar position is necessary as you will be responsible for the programming, setting and operating of 3/4 axis fanuc control vertical machining centres, using iso or conversational programmes

duties:

design, programme and manufacture fixtures and jigs.

train and develop new starters to the business

implement new production methods

improve cost efficiency and ensure continuous improvement

write & adjust fanuc programs (g) code knowledge

in order to be successful you will need to be able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline. you must also have a logical and analytical approach to work with a can-do attitude. there will also be some flexibility required.
