the uk’s leading on-site heat treatment company have a fantastic opportunity for heat treatment technicians to join the team. the business is based in falkirk, and the role will involve travel to sites around the uk and internationally.

full time, 40 hours per week, permanent

£25,000 - £29,500 per annum + overtime

please note: applicants must be authorised to work in the uk

our client is looking for heat treatment technicians to deliver on-site heat treatment services in pre and post weld heat treatment, induction heat treatment and refractory gas fired bake outs both on and offshore.

these roles will involve travelling and working away from home throughout the uk and internationally.

as heat treatment technician you will:

carry out on-site pre and post weld heat treatment (on & offshore)
carry out on-site induction heat treatment (on & offshore)
carry out refractory gas fired bake outs.
maintain the heat treatment equipment we use
follow and apply heat treatment procedures as per the customer requirements

you will:

be required to work on our customers’ sites in a safe manner
be reliable with excellent timekeeping skills
be highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
hold a full uk driving licence
demonstrate excellent communication skills
be required to attend a course to obtain a ccsng safety passport
hold current offshore bosiet & mist certs (not essential but preferred)
