the close is set back from the river thames in beautiful surroundings, definitely not the average care home as our reviews and ratings show.

the day to day duties of the post are:

key objectives:

· to provide a clean, fresh environment throughout the home.

main duties:

1) general cleaning of all areas i.e. bedrooms lounges, dining areas, toilets and bathrooms, offices and corridors. inside window cleaning and all fittings and fixtures

2) adhere to stated cleaning methods observing hygiene practices to prevent cross infection.

3) observe the correct use and care of equipment, reporting promptly and defects in machinery or materials.

4) report any accident or incident according to company policy.

5) work as part of a team, having the ability to adapt to different circumstances.

6) carry out instructions accurately, following work schedules laid down within specified time limits.

7) maintain high standards of workmanship without constant supervision.

8) participate in staff meetings.

9) attend in-service training lectures.
