personal assistant (pa) and care assistant

location - liphook, hants

10 hours daily with flexibility

pay £12-50 per hour

i am a permanent wheelchair user following spinal surgery.

very active with business and leisure activities, also with charities and out whenever possible. events, cinema and eating out are important to me.

you will assist me in hoisting and transfers and going out.

i have a motability adapted vehicle.

1. fitting sling and operating hoist. training provided.

2. driving, including using tie-downs for wheelchair. training provided.

3. accompany and assist with socialising and activities. including:

i. disabled sailing (frensham sailability),

ii. gym visits for specific exercises and to maintain health

iii. time out for exercise generally.

iv. socials/restaurants/shopping.

v. visits to family

vi. visits to physio, doctors, hospitals

4. hoist and transfer to shower chair in mornings.

5. preparation for bed- sling on, night bags, transfer to bed.

6. assistance with planning and paperwork.

7. some preparation of meals.

8. laundry, light cleaning and tidying.

reliable, honest, trustworthy, patient and considerate. sense of humour. some flexibility on working hours.

clean driver’s licence.
