adecco is recruiting for an experienced qa candidate who is seeking an opportunity to become part of a successful and growing topeka company!
our client provides private label and custom manufactured pet supplements designed to support and maintain healthy pets. this company produces high quality, unique health supplements and health treats for dogs, cats, and horses in the form of soft chews, baked treats, powders, oils, and liquids.
primary accountabilities:
ensures that the company maintains compliance with the food-safety plan, cgmps, or other audit/inspection (including usda and fda) and product export requirements. the manager will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying non-conformity issues.
the qa manager will work with the director of operations and will supervise and manage the daily activities of other quality and warehouse employees.
some major duties include:
•maintaining audit records
•performing quality control procedures
•developing and analyzing data using
•applying haccp, plant quality, plant gmps, gfsi certification, and food safety requirements
•working with regulatory agencies and prepare for export of products
•maintaining documentation for export audits
•identifying new packaging and ingredient vendors with products and services that add to customer satisfaction.
•developing business relationships with suppliers and clients.
qualifications:
•two (2) year degree or technical degree in a related field
•experience in a customer-facing role
•strong microsoft excel, inventory management software and/or quickbooks.
•four (4) year degree in a management field.
great salary and benefits include:
salary range: $45,760 - $52,000 doe – available match up to 4% (after 90 days)
health insurance – bcbs – 30% company paid
vacation – accrual up to 10 days per year
pto is accrued
