Part time morning housekeeper/nanny role - twickenham - united kingdom, twickenham, london

morning housekeeper / nanny role - twickenham

duration – 6 months contract – possibility to extend contract

salary £13 ph

days/hours 9 - 12 hours per week – ideally monday, wednesday and friday 08;30 am – 11;30am (some flexibility with hours)

were a friendly family of four, soon to be five and are looking for an experienced housekeeper three morningsa week. the ideal candidate will be proactive, diligent, and personable. someone who will take pride in maintaining our home, helping our lives run more smoothly and helping identify anything that needs attention. you will also possess attention to detail, good communication skills and takes initiative in what needs to be done.

our family is expecting our third child in december and are fully expecting life to get busier and far more demanding !! therefore, we feel an experienced housekeeper/nanny will help us run our home more efficiently.

we already have a clean, well-organised house but off course the house duties will no doubt become challenging to keep on top of with a tiny baby to look after.

we have put together a basic list of the duties we feel will be a great help to us. we would like to employ someone who would also be happy to build a relationship with our children and help with childcare as and when required. we envisage this to be 1-2 evenings per month (evening babysitting hourly rate £11ph ) and possibly some nannying during the 9-12-hour week if housekeeping is up to date. nanny duties can be discussed nearer the time.

duties to include:

• complete care and cleaning of the home (ensuring the house is clean & tidy throughout the week)

• laundry and ironing (hanging out washing)

• put freshly ironed clothes away

• changing the beds when required (approximately every two weeks)

• watering indoor/outdoor plants

• putting away food shopping (shopping delivered once a week)

• tracking food essentials to add to order (noticing any items we are missing or are near to finishing)

• prepare our evening meal three times a week (recipes provided each week)

• running errands (returning parcels to post office, collecting small items from local shops, taking old clothes to clothes bank)

• work through a weekly housekeeping list of any potential chores which need completing (wipe skirting boards, change sofa covers, arranging drawers/wardrobes, cleaning/organising kitchen cupboards, cleaning oven, cleaning fridge when needed etc)
