don your marigolds and get ready for some bubbles (with some baby cuddles!) were in search of a live in housekeeper to support a chipping norton family .

the family have recently moved in the lovely area of chipping norton , oxfordshire and are looking to settle there for the long term. the family are a very friendly, professional couple who will welcome the birth of their first child later this year. mum has now decided that she would like some extra support from a live in and very caring housekeeper / nanny to support them for the long term.

the position initially would typically involve housekeeping from 9am 5 pm monday friday . at times there may be shared care or sole charge care of their adorable little girl. this would be a full housekeeping position so duties would involve cleaning, hovering, dusting, ironing etc. the family plan to have a full time maternity nurse for three months after babys arrival in october so the role will transition after that time to include more support with childcare but this will really be as and when required as mum will be around during the day.

the ideal applicant would be someone who is very flexible , hands on and organised , who is looking to support the family for the very long term. due to the housekeeping requirements of the position the ideal applicant must be happy with all elements of family housekeeping.

duties

take care of the household,

mopping the floor,

dusting,

cooking for the family,

freshening the rooms

doing the laundry and ironing of the family,

hoovering the carpets and floors,

ensuring all bedrooms are always clean,

making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean,

doing the grocery shopping, meal planning and errands,

organising cupboards and changing bedsheets.

the family live in a large country house with 8 bedrooms, only 2 bedrooms and the ground floor are in use.

full accommodation is provided in the family home with your own living area, bathroom and double bedroom and kitchen area for personal use.

the family have two friendly border collie dogs who are happy to be exercised in the grounds of the family home so you will need to be comfortable around animals.
