adecco is hiring immediately in marietta, pa for day shift packaging technician jobs at starting at $22.00 per hour.
responsibilities:
• entry level position responsible for operating secondary packaging equipment in compliance with all standard operating procedures (sops) in a gmp environment, including:
o manual loading of packaging materials onto the equipment for manual and automatic packaging equipment
o manual cartoning and tamper evidence label application
o manual hand packing into shipping boxes and hand palletizing
o operation of automated packaging equipment
o operation of hand scanners
o cleaning of the equipment.
o identify equipment issues, communicate and interact with senior operator and maintenance personnel when repair is necessary.
o record data to support metrics around equipment downtime and production line output
• perform day to day packaging line activities such as:
o perform line clearance activities
o inspection and re-processing of ejects
o complete batch record documentation
o assure that appropriate housekeeping of the packaging area is maintained.
• recognize and report deviations or potential quality issues immediately to the packaging management team.
• perform all job responsibilities in compliance with the gsk safety procedures and all applicable ehs regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practices
• maintain full compliance with all assigned learning plans
minimum qualifications:
• high school diploma or ged equivalent
• good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
• physical requirements include pushing, pulling stooping, standing, climbing, twisting and lifting up to 50lbs. this includes the use of a manual hand jack.
• demonstrated good oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
• highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set.
• able to function productively with minimal supervision.
• good organizational skills.
• must be able to work while wearing personal protective equipment (ppe) for all gmp areas for an entire shift. (includes safety shoes, glasses, mask and hair\beard covers).
• basic computer skills.
