summary
provide first contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and desktop application software problems.
effectively escalates incidents to higher level ii or level iii support team when required.
document incidents status and solutions in the it service management software.
provide technical assistance including both end users telephone calls, chat, electronically submitted requests and on-site.
address all smart phone and tablet issues including but not limited to ordering, fixing and configuring devices.
duties
identify, diagnose, and resolve level i issues for end user in a call center environment, including telephone calls, chats, electronically submitted incidents and on-site.
ability to work in a fast-paced call center with multiple priorities while handling end users’ requests.
analyze and solve end-users’ problems related to but not limited to network and local printers, desktop and mobile hardware, standard and specialized application software, e-mail, internet, wifi and lan access.
handle stock intake and processing.
order and configure mobile devices for end users.
support implementation of company procedures and policies
perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
knowledge
operating systems including windows based systems and mobile ios.
computer hardware fundamentals including printers.
computer software application including installation and troubleshooting.
troubleshooting simple and complex desktop computer related problems.
fundamental understand of networking technologies.
training and experience
associates degree or equivalent work experience
effective verbal and written communication skills
strong analytical critical thinking skills
excellent customer service
one-year technical work experience and prefer one year of help desk or customer service experience.
