Prep cook is responsible for working under the leadership and guidance of the company’s chef de cuisine, for all food preparation needs including sweet and savory preparations. must be able to follow directions and recipes clearly and execute correctly as instructed. looking for someone that has clear communication skills and able to speak english. must have good knife skills, able to work standing on one’s feet for the duration of the work day and have a passion for food. team work is key as this fast paced kitchen works as a team to get the job done. strong cooking, organizational and presentation skills a must. professional work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to multi-task is required. the position requires a flexible schedule including working occasional nights, weekends and holidays. we look for professional, outgoing, passionate and punctual team members.
once trained, this position offers the ability to work at our off premise catered events for an additional higher rate of pay on top of the 40 hours in the kitchen.
no degree required for this position but must have prior prep cook experience.
