  • type: fulltime (40 hours / week)
  • length: 2 years; possible extension/conversion
  • pay: $25.35 hourly
  • shift/hours: mon-fri 8am – 5pm
  • this is an onsite position in fort polk south, la
  • responsibilities include:

  • varied services for supported print devices as requested by customer (ex: glass cleanings, fuser replacement, waste toner collection, transfer kits, roller cleaning & replacements, jam clearing, main kit replacement, tray adjustments, drum replacements, adf cleaning, print quality issues)
  • conduct preventative maintenance on supported print devices
  • manage spare parts and consumables inventories for supported print devices, including re-ordering
  • remove and recycle empty toner for supported print devices.
  • dispatch service calls to hp as needed (if unable to resolve)
  • manage escalation with hp client manager
  • manage unrepairable device replacements with customer & hp client manager
  • on-site hardware installation/de-installation services. supplier to perform installation and/or de-installation of printer hardware at customer sites
  • imacd (installation, move, add, change or delete) services. this includes de• installation services, in addition to the preparation for transport such as locking down scanner bed, removing accessories and possible preparation for transport.
  • perform general maintenance checks on fleet devices
  • requirements:

  • proficient with electronics and computer knowledge is necessary
  • intermediate hardware and software troubleshooting skills required
  • possess good mechanical ability and knowledge of computer hardware
  • detail oriented with the desire to learn and grow technically
  • works well within a team
  • flexible schedule and good verbal/writing skills
  • 2-4 years customer service experience preferred
