Forklift driver - united kingdom, maidenhead, berkshire

we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is well known global company based in maidenhead and we are looking for experienced forklift drivers (flt).

warehouse operator level 1 / flt driver in goods in

job function/principal duties:

* to operate forklift truck (reach and/or counterbalance) and powered pallet truck

* to ensure that gmp (good manufacturing practise), quality, health & safety are considered in all aspects of role

* responsible for data integrity around all warehouse pallet movement

* continuously seek improved ways of working use of warehouse management systems measure & monitor supplier and despatch performance, periodically reporting details to interested parties

* raise qirs as appropriate (e.g. for supplier issues, despatch issues)

* adhering to first in first out (fifo) wherever possible

* accountable for all damages caused whilst on shift

pay rates:

24/5 shift patterns - £12.44

within this role you can progress to a warehouse operator level 2 £13.10…

24/5 (3 shifts) patterns:

1 week: from monday to friday 7am - 3pm. 40.25hrs (including 15mins. handovers)

1 week: from monday to friday 8am - 4pm. 40.25hrs (including 15mins. handovers)

1 week: from monday to friday 1pm - 9pm. 40.25hrs (including 15mins. handovers)
