Delivery driver/farm worker - united kingdom, canterbury, kent
depending on the candidate this position is either 39 hours a week or 16 hours per week
in this role you will be delivering fresh fruit and veg to kent’s wild animal parks as well as selected customers in london. within this role you will work within our packing shed making up the orders ready for the next day.
you will be required to drive our counterbalance forklift.
we are a busy market garden and you will also be required to help with harvesting and maintenance if required
key points are:
deliver fresh fruit and veg to our customers in a timely manner
picking orders within the packing shed
driving to new covent garden market
delivering great customer service at all times.
undertake pre-shift inspection of your vehicle
drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
clean and refuel your vehicle as and when needed
helping the other nursery staff when required
reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday
a full uk manual driving licence is essential, a 7.5 ton licence would be an advantage but not essential.
you must have held a uk manual driving licence for at least 3 years.
