dear applicant,
we are looking for a temporary full-time senior housekeeper (live out). you will be a key part of the day-to-day running of a busy household. your colleagues will include 3 part-time junior housekeepers.
our family is large, fun-loving, and very active with 4 children aged between 11 and 16 years of age, plus a family dog.

location: kenwood, highgate, n6 4lr
hours: monday – thursday 09.00 – 20.00
pay: £20phr paye
start date: - from 21/11/2022 – 8/12/2022 (15-17th (agreed part time hours to train))
duration: approximately 3 weeks
the job:
manage the daily upkeep of the house.
ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and order in all areas of the house. maintain household inventory, managing household supplies and equipment
reporting any household maintenance and liaising with maintenance and building contractors
when required help organize guest stayovers, dinner parties or family celebrations
arrange/document weekly dry-cleaning, confident in organizing family wardrobes. with a good understanding of laundry, fabrics and delicate-wear and ironing.
confident in booking restaurants, deliveroo, /uber taxi bookings, and household online shops. able to use whatsapp, google maps, etc. liaising with the family pa.
pet duties: include walking the dog and collecting from the groomers from time to time.
cooking: happy to cook at least 2 meals a week for the family. you don’t have to be a trained chef but must have a genuine interest in cooking and be able to follow recipes and produce menu plans.
the applicant:
the person covering will need to be competent, confident, experienced, calm under pressure and conscientious about their work.
strictly a non-smoker. very good -excellent command of english. ideally, crb or dbs is checked. essential- at least 3 good uk checkable references from previous families doing a similar job.
any additional qualifications are very welcome, i.e., first aid certified.
uk driver’s license would be advantageous.
