primary responsibilities for molding setup and resin technician:
• supports the mold setup of injection mold tooling. responsible for material changes, mold transportation, installation, setup/startup within established validated parameters, line clearances where applicable and cleanup of area and equipment.
• delivers material to appropriate molding operations and reprocesses scrap from molding.
• operates pallet jack, forklift, and other material handling equipment.
• compiles and maintains production paperwork and documentation as required for assigned shift and machines.
• performs basic troubleshooting on machinery and/or feeding systems.
requirements for this position:
• one to two years technician experience in a similar molding operation, preferably with experience on 33 to 350-ton equipment
• additional experience as automated machine operation helpful. computer literate to a degree allowing the entry and retrieval of process information contained within the mattec system
