primary responsibilities for injection molding operator:
• monitors assigned molding machines.
• ensures that molded presses run efficiently, reporting issues to staff to correct.
• demonstrates accountability in providing and sustaining a positive safety culture. answers press alarms to maximize press efficiencies.
• operates manual molding machines, trims parts off runners, separates runners, signs cleaning documents.
• quickly identify press issue to minimize the amount of scrap produced.
requirements for this position:
• must be detail oriented and have good manual dexterity and math skills computer skills (microsoft word and excel) preferred.
• knowledge and experience in use of mechanical and electronic measurement and test equipment preferred.
• mechanical ability and aptitude necessary.
