for our kitchen in norbury, we are currently looking for a chef to wow guests by creating amazing dishes according to our standard recipes and specifications. the chef is an essential part of our team, taking care of the preparation of various dishes and running service in an efficient, productive manner. ultimately you will be responsible for consistently delivering stunning dishes and ensuring food is prepped for delivery on time.

jaffna kitchen was founded in 2020, we create authentic sri lankan food including the very popular, freshly-made kothu, this is our second kitchen with plans to grow into more delivery kitchens the menu originates from jaffna, the culinary home of sri lankan cuisine, and has been brought to the uk by the original founding family. with a loyal following, jaffna kitchen is now ready to open in norbury, south london.

what will you be doing?

you will prepare and produce high-quality dishes - both design and taste-wise - following the recipe and company standards, in collaboration with your colleagues.

you ensure product quality and adequacy at the cooking stations and ensure a clean work environment and kitchen equipment.

you enforce a strict health and hygiene standard according to haccp.

you have prior experience in this type of role and have knowledge of haccp.

you are a strong communicator and team player.
