ymca thames gateway group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced kitchen assistant to join the team and help us in providing exceptional customer service to our community.

£11,700 pa / £10.00 per hour & competitive benefits

25 hours per week

monday – sunday, working 5 out of 7 days shift pattern across the week

we're looking for a part time kitchen assistant who will be responsible for food preparation, cleaning of work areas, re-stocking, some cash handling and assisting in other areas of the catering department when required.

about you

the successful candidate will hold a current food hygiene certificate and have experience adhering to all health and safety practices within a catering environment.

we ask that all applicants have at least 2 years’ experience within the catering industry.

if you are experienced in working within a busy catering department and understand the importance of customer service where you can really make a difference to people's lives, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
