Hr administrator - united states, pittsburgh

we are assisting a company local to robinson township, pa in their search to fill a temp to hire hr administrator.

primary responsibilities

  • provide oversight and administration of leave requests for compliance with family and medical leave act (fmla), the americans with disabilities act (ada), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans, and in accordance with the company’s leave policies.
  • performs exemplary customer service and assistance to employees, site managers and hr staff.
  •  

    knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • proficient in microsoft office products especially excel
  • expert written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
  •  

    qualifications: 

  • education: bachelors degree in human resources preferred
  • experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role
  • license/certification: shrm-cp preferred
  •
