universe administrator for one of our premier clients in dallas, tx 75254. this role temp to hire and
flexible 6am – 6pm (normal 8am – 5pm)
the pay starts at $50.00 /hr. for qualified candidates.
the universe system administrator is responsible for supporting rexel usa’s multiuser eclipse erp environment and to ensure continuous, optimal performance of application and database services and systems. this role is responsible for ensuring the uptime of the eclipse erp system and to limit work disruptions. this includes monitoring system performance and helping to support system maintenance and configuration. additionally, this role troubleshoots hardware and software problems and assesses new technologies.
required skills:
education & experience
• bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years’ experience
• strong technical knowledge of rocket universe or unidata databases
• strong technical knowledge in unix/linux shell scripting
• familiarity with postgress, j2ee technology, java, relational database and multi- value database technology
• windows and linux environments
• epicor eclipse erp experience and/or epicor eclipse pick application development (preferred)
