Act as functional leader for plant and vehicles maintenance. apply and implement systems and procedures to ensure all company equipment services are of highstandard of performance, as expected in the organization. ensure that all resources are effectively & efficiently deployed. monitor cost effectiveness, review and propose changes to improve cost effectiveness. ensure material requisitions are in accordance with plant requirements. maintain all assets records and service history files. ensure all assets service and spare parts manuals are available and easily located where needed. train workshop personnel as required. motivate the team members and develop high level of team work environment. coordinate and communicate with different department heads. identify and select the right technicians with the right experience. identify equipment which are beyond economical repairs and recommend for disposal. implement hsse norms strictly to ensure safe working environment. carry out any other duties as requested by direct supervisor.minimum requirements: graduate in engineering (mechanical / automobile / electro mechanical engineering) minimum 5 years hands on experience in maintenance and repair of heavy constructionequipment (preferably pipeline equipment). in depth knowledge of plant and vehicles maintenance procedures and policies. good skills in identifying gaps, evaluate risks and select the right personnel. high level of interpersonal skills to develop and motivate the workshop team. analytical skills and problem-solving attitude with leadership qualities. high level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills. high level of awareness to hsse norms and best workshop practices. excellent computer literacy. ability to work under pressure.
