working hours: five nights out of seven, 10pm - 8am. total 50 hours per week. based in welwyn garden city.

you will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient and high-quality reception and night support service within the housing provision located at peartree hostel in welwyn garden city. reception is the main point of contact either in person or by telephone for residents, visitors and the general public and the objective is to provide a first class, welcoming, informative and professional service at all times, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality towards all users and responsible for the safety and security of the building/site.

the key elements of the post are to:

be part of a user-friendly, responsive night reception service providing a high-quality front of house service to residents, visitors and staff.monitor the cctv systems and patrol the buildings and grounds to ensure the safety of residents, visitors and property.

our clients housing services represent 65% of their income, and in line with their ‘mission 25’ project they have a goal to double the impact of their housing services by 2025. this role is a position which will help our client to achieve that goal, providing support to the day teams which work within the organisation.
