they are now looking for an office administrator to join their friendly office team and play a pivotal role in supporting key business processes from inception to completion.

key responsibilities:

update and maintain supplier/subcontractor database.
place purchase orders.
hiring and off hiring of plant.
ensure material and plant requisitions are processed in a timely and professional manner and purchased with approved suppliers at the most competitive rates.
finalise delivery dates and monitor the progress.
maintain sufficient stock levels for upcoming projects.
negotiate improved supplier terms.
report movements in price, terms, and lead times to estimators/contracts managers.
review invoice queries and liaise with concerned parties to resolve/respond to disputes.

about you

previous experience within the construction sector is desirable but not essential.
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
sound knowledge of it systems and fully conversant with microsoft office, particularly excel.
good analytical skills and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
