we are delighted to announce we’re recruiting a new, dynamic data analyst to work out of our head office on the wirral, in merseyside.

this role is ideally suited to someone who has a real passion for data as well as sustainability, as we are all about saving water.

following the successful award of a number of flagship contracts with uk water companies, we need to strengthen our team with an additional analyst.

you may be currently in a similar role or looking to build your career; either way this is a great role working in a friendly and exciting environment.

job summary

you’ll be working on some of our biggest contracts, with data collected by our team of water efficiency engineers and plumbers, analysing data and identifying trends, providing clients and management with valuable information that will be used to create reports for our water company clients.

you’ll love data and be able to handle lots of it.

you’ll be an absolute whizz on microsoft excel as well as other microsoft products and becoming familiar with the various software systems and platforms we use will be a breeze. you’ll be data cleansing, checking for errors in ms excel and much more. you will be great with ms excel tools and be able to extract data and then put it in a format that is suitable for ms powerbi.

you’ll have multiple duties ranging from data analysis to data inputting and processing, as well as basic administration. you’ll be identifying, gathering, analysing data and making their insights accessible through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports using microsoft power bi.

using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
basic administration
inputting data and processing
data cleansing and checking
monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
extract data and check for issues (from our various platforms and software systems)
using data to predict trends
performing statistical analysis of data
using microsoft power bi to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs (training will be given)
communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
attending client meetings as required, usually but not always virtually.
