adecco is hiring immediately for a financial analyst with a local client in sanford, nc. this individual will support the logistics finance and operations organizations, and to help drive financial savings for the area of transportation as applicable. pay for this role starts at $35.00/hour.
key responsibilities:
monitor and manage expenses for freight costs and accrue expenses as needed at month end
prepare or assist with other monthly journal entries as needed
assist in preparation of the monthly operations report’s for north america transportation, key freight statistics, allocations, results analysis and adhoc analysis as needed
analyze cost variance to prepare action plan for future risks/opportunities
refine or develop cost models to support monthly reporting
assist with preparation of annual budgets and periodic estimates
costing and gross margin analysis
prepare/assist ssc with capitalization schedules
support sox controls application
requirements:
bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
3+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience
erp experience required
sap experience preferred
solid understanding of financial principals related to the p&l and balance sheets
strong knowledge of all financial processes related to the general ledger finance system
accounting experience preparing and posting journal entries
thorough understanding of reporting systems and processes
budget and forecast management knowledge a plus
