Mechanical engineer - united states, parkersburg

we have partnered with a global manufacturer in their search for a mechanical engineer to optimize equipment, procedures, and asset reliability by applying principles of mechanical engineering, physics and materials science.

this position will:   

ensure capital assets are performing optimally to allow production, safety, and quality goals to be met by improving equipment uptime, capability, reliability and throughput

provide technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and systems, serving as a mentor to facilitate understanding of mechanical systems 

provide leadership and technical expertise for capex projects and yearly outages

candidates should have: 

bachelor in mechanical engineering 

3-7 years industrial experience in a manufacturing plant setting (including co-ops and internships) 

experience with cad (2d and 3d modeling),gear drives, hydraulic systems, rotating equipment assemblies, fans and belt drives preferred  

the position offers: 

salary target  $85-95k (base) 

robust benefits including up to a 9% employer 401k contribution, and quarterly bonus program 

relocation assistance
